A milestone in the history of Trade Fairs in Krakow

A milestone in the history of Trade Fairs in Krakow was the construction of the EXPO Krakow International Exhibition and Convention Centre – the most modern multifunctional facility in the region, which took only 228 days to complete and, since its opening on 14 May 2014, has become a symbol of the company's entry into the international arena. The investment, financed entirely from Trade Fairs in Krakow own funds, was built on the site of the former ‘Prefabet’ plant in Czyżyny, Krakow, and marked a new chapter not only in the company's history, but also in the development of the city. It quickly became a key point on the business and cultural map of Europe, hosting over 100,000 participants from around the world annually, attracting prestigious trade fairs, congresses, conferences and special events, and playing an important role in the city's development.

The Trade Fairs in Krakow is primarily about people

As the company's representatives emphasise, the success of the company is primarily due to the people who have been contributing to the history of Trade Fairs in Krakow for 30 years. "Over these three decades, we have been very fortunate to have people who are committed, responsible and dedicated to their work, able to take responsibility for projects and see them through to completion. To this day, we still have several people working with us who have been with us from the very beginning, who helped create the first events and have spent their entire professional lives at Trade Fairs in Krakow. It is these people – their experience, passion and loyalty – who are our greatest treasure,” says CEO Ewa Woch.

Three decades of experience

Three decades of experience, thousands of completed projects and even more plans for the future mean that the Krakow Fair is entering its next years of operation with the energy of a 30-year-old and the conviction that the best is yet to come.
