Changes at EXPO Kraków!

06.08.2025

Summer in the fair world is a time for gathering strength for the rest of the season, as well as finalizing preparations for autumn events. This also applies to the EXPO Kraków building, which is changing for our guests while always keeping the environment in mind. Check out what's new at EXPO Kraków!

EXPO Kraków focuses on ecology!

As part of the National Recovery Plan, we received funds useful for modernizing EXPO Kraków. Thanks to this, we managed to, among other things, replace the existing hall flooring. By management decision, we purchased 1,500 m2 of carpet protective tiles over 5 mm thick and measuring 2m x 1m.

Installation of this type of flooring does not require the use of tapes, glue, etc. The properties of such flooring help reduce echo and improve acoustic comfort, which is a definite advantage, especially in the context of conference rooms. Additionally, it was designed for multiple use – thanks to this, the amount of waste generated can be reduced.

In addition to replacing the flooring, it was also decided to change the lighting system in the exhibition halls and in the Bratislava conference room. We are replacing the existing lamps with LED lighting, which in itself represents great savings in energy consumption. The LEDs have additionally been equipped with a DALI system, which continuously monitors the amount of light entering the hall and adjusts the power of the generated lighting accordingly.

Thanks to individual control, we will not only save electricity, but we will also be able to better adjust the lighting intensity in the hall, which will translate into comfort for both exhibitors and visitors.

EXPO Kraków develops for visitors

In addition to replacing flooring and lighting, the parking system will be changed at EXPO Kraków. It aims primarily to improve traffic flow and make parking easier to use.

Thanks to the funds obtained from the NPR, the purchase and installation of parking software, license plate recognition system, parking ticket machines (enabling payment by cash, payment cards, or contactless), software for ticket machines, entry and exit terminals, as well as the purchase of modern and fast barriers will be implemented.

Summer is a time for drawing conclusions from the entire fair year. Thanks to observations made in previous seasons, we were able to make bold decisions that will improve the quality of using EXPO Kraków, and also make the facility an even better place for organizing fairs, events, conferences, events, or conventions. We are changing for you – see you in September at the first fair of the season – Tuning Show EXPO!
